While working as a Diagnostic Radiographer, I attended dress designing and pattern making classes for 2 years after work twice a week. I loved designing but not the sewing much.
While working and studying further in Nuclear Medicine, one of the Radiographers were selling a few ceramic pots. It was cheap because it was a bit “crooked” but I saw the beauty in it. I was amazed and hooked.
I then attended Ceramic classes twice a week for 2 years ceramic. I attended many workshops via Ceramic SA. One of the workshops was organised by the British Council at the Castle of Good hope.
After this workshop an exhibition was held there. Two of my large ceramic pots which was on exhibition was sold to a shop in Clan William. The owner of the shop then order. Her ceramic pottery classes to be held at Safia exhibition room at Islamia.
