I am a proud Muslim South African and was born and bred in Cape Town. My fascination with art started when I was mesmerized by the interior dome of Masjidul Quds in Gatesville Cape Town.

The dome artwork was designed and painted by well-known Islamic artist, Achmat Soni.

I joined a short course with the master himself and that was the start of my journey to discovering my own creativity and artistic style. I enjoy experimenting with different mediums and materials.
