Description: Kolga Manor, Estonia. Old abandoned places beckon us, and this particular old hall in Kolga with the winter light streaming through the bay windows, and the view of doorways through doorways whispered to me about times gone by. As I beheld it, I knew I had to paint it.
I’m honoured that this painting is one of 20 selected to represent South Africa in the Fabriano Aquarello Festival in Italy in April 2026 this year.”
